3 Biggest Mistakes I Wanted to Avoid when I was creating My Website

Tuesday, April 21st, 2020

  1. Being Critical
As you can imagine, I was definitely critical and particular about it, since this is my own company website. I want it to look good, functional and yet user friendly. It is the kind of thing that you will tell your clients million times, all the more I want to prove that I do what I preach.
  2. The Details
Yes, I am particular about it, which colour comes in first and second, the sequence to it, the priority. Not to mention, I am also a graphic designer, so it makes me double analytical to the max!
  3. Let It GO
At the end of the day, we can be picking up on everything but having said so, you have to trust who you want to be and let it GO. Often, we assume we know best but because we are too immerse into it to give a clear perspective as well.
So finally, after my wrestling with myself, here I am finally relaunching my website again… before we go again. 🙂

Monday, March 30th, 2015

Websites are built to sell things, promote people or businesses, provide information, connect people, and store content. Each type of site has specific challenges and problems that must be overcome to make the site function in the best way possible. The challenges that need to be solved are often big picture things, like the best way of connecting with the target audience of a site. They could be things to do with process. They could be information visualisation, such as the best way to present a complex table of data, or they could be simple things like how big to make a button or a heading in relation to the rest of the page. Regardless of the size of the problem, the job is to solve these problems, not just to make the problems look prettier.

We are very happy to work with our new client Reliant Logistics on their web design. Reliant Logistics was established by experienced professionals to provide support to Asian and global companies. They primarily fulfil critical logistics needs of the oil and gas industry. Our highly experienced designers offer dynamic web creations using the most up-to-date technology available. IGIT Services Website

Wednesday, December 17th, 2014

Websites are important for ranking well in search engines. A website allows for a much more robust experience for visitors than most other platforms. This means that you can be more efficient at providing visitors the information that they’re looking for, as well as the opportunity to create web applications for more value to your visitors. With a website, you can build a customer / user database to save contact and demographic information about people who visit your website. This can enable you to gain a better understanding of who your online visitors are, and create complimentary marketing strategies (direct mailings, etc.) customised to their interests. This is also a great way to keep in touch with customers who have purchased your products, leaving you the ability to send a follow-up e-mail, or occasionally sending them information about new products.

A satisfied customer is often a returning customer. We are again happy to work with our client IGIT Services on their web design. IGIT Services is a team of engineers who have been working over 20 years in the various industries, ie. Petrochemical, Energy/ Utilities, Marine, Oilfield both Offshore & Onshore and helped complete various projects over the years and have come together form an excellent partnership and approach jobs systematically for a successful outcome. Surveys have shown that most small business and organisations do not yet have websites, so putting your business or organisation on the web puts you a step above the rest.

JCST Brochure

Responsive Web Design (RWD) simplify the layout and adapt to various screen sizes. It is targeted at smartphone users with various sizes of their handheld devices. Retailers are joining the trend providing shoppers a mobile friendly viewing across many devices be it iOS or Android. The main objectives is to let viewers easy to see and navigate with their own devices. What retailers would like to hear most is the lower cost of maintenance. One website for all devices and there is no need to re-direct. The development of RWD can be done by most web programmers with better CSS coding skills.

However, in order to get to that stage need major re-design of existing website and large amount of data exchange that will slow down performance. User may find it easier to browse through and doesn’t know the technology behind. So do retailers. The benefit of RWD may seems invisible as compared to the investment needed.
